Friendship Crossing – Inspired by Author E. B. White

Friendship Crossing. A new quilt pattern I designed, which is available in Jan/Feb 2024 issue of McCall’s Quilting Magazine. It is inspired by E. B. White’s novel “Charlotte’s Web”. Friendship are a blessing and during this Thanksgiving Holiday I wanted to take a moment to say how it is so great to have all the wonderful friendships in my life. Every one is unique and different, which makes life so fun and enjoyable.

My newest pattern – Holiday Merry Hearts available in November/December 2023 Quiltmaker Magazine

This quilt symbolizes the love that is shared with family, friends, and loved ones. It was inspired by the beautiful red and green antique quilts I admire. I thought this would be a nice opportunity to design a holiday quilt using gentle hues of reds and greens, which would not only be enjoyed through the holiday season but also into February for Valentine’s Day.”

Xanadu – My newest art quilt

Xanadu was a quilt I made for the Ricky Tims “Rise Up” Challenge. The challenge was to express our perseverance, determination, tenacity, and fortitude during the Covid-19 pandemic. A number of beautiful art quilts were submitted for the challenge. All of the entrants personal stories and quilts are available to see on Ricky Tims’s website. Social Bubbles by Denise DeGrandis, Thornberry, Ontario, Canada was the grand prize winner of Ricky’s “Let Freedom Ring” quilt. Congratulations Denise!!!! You can read more about Xanadu on my Blog.
