New Patterns Coming in November

If you love Island Batiks, you are going to love this post. As an Island Batik Designer I get to create and design wonderful projects with new lines of fabric. I had the opportunity to design a few new patterns using Claudia Pfeil’s and Kathy Engle’s new lines of Island Batiks. So fill your glass with a nice Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio, get all snuggly in your comfy chair and enjoy these amazing new fabric lines from Island Batik and the beautiful patterns I have designed using these new collections.

Peacock Galore by Claudia Pfeil

First up is Claudia’s new collection, Peacock Galore. Claudia designed this collection from her favorite quilting fill designs. The elegant clam shell, feathers, and bubbles are enjoyed by so many quilters around the world. The vibrant, rich colors of violet, orange, turquoise, yellow, and lime green make this collection of fabrics so fun to create with.

Promenade is a colorful scrappy quilt I designed using Claudia’s Peacock Galore batik collection. Fabrics from the collection are paired with Sprinkles from Island Batik’s Neutrals foundation collection to make this quilt dance with charm. This pattern will be available as a download pattern from my website beginning in November.

Deco Revival by Kathy Engle

My new pattern Transcendence was inspired by the geometric patterns and chevron arrangements in Island Batik’s Deco Revival collection by Kathy Engle. Fused with shades of purple, grey and cream, the collection will add a sophisticated and elegant feel to your any project.

Transcendence will be available beginning in November from my website as a downloadable pattern.

Ohana – by Kathy Engle

Ohana means family, I designed Aloha Stars to remind me of the wonderful quilting family I have all over the world. The Ohana collection by Kathy Engle is full of the beautiful floral colors of the tropical islands. Every time I snuggle up under this starry quilt I love to think about my quilting friends. The beautiful rose, blues and teals are paired with two solids, White and Sterling from Island Batik’s Solid Foundation collections.

Aloha Stars will be available at Hancock’s of Paducah beginning in November and also as a downloadable pattern from my website.

Venetian Marble – Designed by Claudia Pfeil

Venetian Marble is a beautifully-balanced original collection. Inspired by the exquisite floor tiles of European cathedrals and churches, the line offers eleven fabrics of soft greys and greens in sophisticated designs that provide an elegant canvas to unleash your creativity.

After a trip in 2019 to Ireland I was inspired by the beautiful tile patterns on the cathedral floors. Labyrinth Star was inspired by the intriguing patterns I became fascinated with in these historical landmarks . Here is a peek at my new pattern, Labyrinth Star. It will be available at Hancock’s of Paducah in November and also on my website.
