Ready for an adventure – It’s In the Bag!

I am wrapping up the week with one of the final It’s In The Bag Blog Hop posts. What an amazing month it has been with all the ByAnnie Bags that have been presented by all the Island Batik Ambassadors. Make sure you read to the end of my blog. There is information on a great give away and links to all the other Island Batik Ambassor’s Blog sites.

Now here is my By Annie Bag….. It is the Round Trip Duffle.

The Round Trip Duffle was made using the new Spring 2020 Williams Garden fabrics. The colors are fabulous in this collection for this bag.

All the hardware and materials were provided by our sponsors, By Annie and Island Batik.

I quilted my bag with an orange peel design using lime green 50 wt. Auril thread and the By Annie’s Soft and Stable provided in the kit. Using the Soft and Stable makes the bag sturdy and gives it a nice professional finish.

The instructions to make the bag were so detailed and made this bag so easy to make. Here are a few pictures in the making of my Round Trip Duffle bag. The instructions provided printed labels to attach to all the parts of the bag to keep everything nicely organized.

The kit also contained a wonderful mesh material for the inner pocket. The high quality made it easy to work with and it was a breeze to insert the zipper into the mesh pocket.

The step by step instructions were so organized. The parts you see below are the pieces used in the construction of the bag.

There is a nice zippered pocket on the outside of the bag for easy access storage.

Inside the bag there are three pockets for organizing items.

The mesh pocket is attached to the inside of the bag for another handy compartment.

The hardware supplied with the bag was of amazing quality. Beautiful antique brass swivel hooks attach to the bag to make it easy to carry.

Great zippered pocket inside to store items.

A heavy duty duel zipper for easy opening and allowing a large opening for placing items in the bag.

The sturdy shoulder strap with adjustable padded shoulder protector and carrying handles.

I love my new Round Trip Duffle bag!!!
