Update – 2018 Houston Market and Festival

What a wonderful week!!!!  I have returned home for a fabulous week at Houston Fall Market and Festival.  My creative spirit came alive spending time with wonderful friends, amazing special exhibits, and quilts on display.

I was thrilled when I found out an owner of a creative arts retreat center purchased my little charity auction quilt “Come Alive” at the International Quilt Association’s Celebrity Mini Quilt Silent Auction.  Thank you so much for purchasing my little art quilt.  I am so happy that it will be going to a new home where it will hang on display for many to enjoy.

It was inspired by listening to the sound track from The Greatest Showman. Doing a little dreaming and creating with my eyes wide open in my creative fantasy land. It was made using the “London Fog” collection from Island Batiks. The border and flower are all done using turned edge machine applique.  Attending Market and Festival made my soul come alive with creativity as a new pattern designer.

It was wonderful to see Patrick Lose again and visit his booth at Market.  My pattern BOHO Dreamcatcher and the kits which Patrick Lose Studios is marketing sold out on the 2nd day of Festival.  I can’t begin to express how happy I was.  Thank you’s to Gary and Patrick for allowing me to have this wonderful opportunity and believing in me.  It was a dream come true.  I had so much fun working with Patrick’s BOHO Happy Collection and was so thrilled and honored to have my quilt, the kits, and patterns on display at his booth during Market and Festival.  Thank you all that stopped by the booth.

I hope to have some more wonderful news as we more forward into 2019.  I can’t wait to be able to share this exciting news.

Enjoy a Happy Thanksgiving everyonel!!!
